Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely Month end closing and maintaining accuracy.
  • Preparing monthly MIS files within the timelines.
  • Responding to queries of the Management and the Business Groups on the MIS
  • Monthly financial variance analysis statement.
  • Preparing Management Committee presentation.
  • Preparing and posting certain month end accounting entries.
  • Preparing/review of Monthly Performance Review note.
  • Quarterly memorandum on performance to Audit Committee and BOD
  • Preparation of Quarterly Board meeting Presentations
  • Omnibus approvals and related party transaction reporting.
  • Preparation of Financials under I-GAAP and reconciliation with Ind-AS.
  • Performance Memorandum to the Board and Board Committees of Parent Entity.
  • Accounting for actuarial valuation – yearly basis.
  • Co-ordination for Investment Valuation and accounting.
  • Any other submissions to the Parent Entity, matters pertaining to closing of books of account and Audit.
  • Oversight of Accounts Payable function.

Essential

Domain Knowledge Competencies / Attributes

  • Having good understanding of IndAS and IGAAP
  • Handled accounts closing for a decent size corporate having good volumes
  • Hands on in preparing Financial Statements including consolidated accounts and preparing power point presentation for Senior Management.
  • Knowledge of both direct and indirect taxes.
  • Experience in preparing MIS and making presentation to the Management.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Role requires liaising with internal departments and subsidiaries
  • Good and effective communication and writing skills. Role requires candidate to interact with Senior Management team.
  • Willingness to put in extra efforts to meet timelines especially for quarter end.
  • Should possess good leadership skills and be a team player as well.
  • Ability to lead by example
